As a nurse I have a passion for helping people heal and supporting them through their health journey. I have spent the last 8 years in a wide variety of traditional medicine roles: long term care, emergency, cardiac-stepdown, and home health. What I discovered was a big gap in our current healthcare system that does not take into account the whole person: mental-emotional-physical-spiritual. Instead of finding the root cause, it provides temporary solutions to long term problems. While I have worked with amazing health care workers, our current healthcare system does not allow us to provide the quality care each person needs. With our hospitals at capacity and primary care practitioners overloaded, it is a turning point in the health industry where prevention and health coaching needs to be integrated.

Through the journey of my own health problems and working with a Functional Medicine provider, as well as graduating from a Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, I have developed a passion to integrate my diverse nursing experience with health coaching. My goal is to help people develop their health vision and work towards achieving a well-balanced lifestyle that will prevent chronic diseases and allow them to live the life they envision!

I enjoy hiking, skiing, and traveling and hope to share my appreciation for nature! As stress levels and mental health issues are on the rise, I understand the importance of mental health as a key component to overall health, which is why stress management, mindset practices, and the mind-gut connection is a big part of my health coaching. I believe it’s not enough to be physically healthy we need to be mentally healthy as well!
